Matthew Marinelli, Bass-Baritone, is a Grammy-winning singer, instrumentalist, and conductor hailed throughout the country as “fabulous” and “show-stealing.” A graduate of Westminster Choir College (B.M. Voice Performance, 2019), he has performed regularly across Philadelphia, New York, and New Jersey with many ensembles, including TENET: Trailblazers, the Philadelphia Symphonic Choir, and the Princeton Singers, has been a chorister at St. Clement’s Church (Philadelphia), the Episcopal Church of Princeton, and Trinity Church Princeton, and has been a regular soloist and chorister with the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC since 2017.

Equally at home in choral and operatic singing, Matthew has performed throughout the U.S., Peru, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, and China, with recent highlights including Geronimo in Il Matrimonio Segreto, premieres of Kevin Puts’ The Hours and Layale Chaker’s Ruinous Gods, and an appearance in Bradley Cooper’s Maestro

When he’s not singing, you can find Matthew conducting the Hunterdon Harmonizers, teaching voice lessons, playing guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and piano, or editing and recording both classical and contemporary music. Outside of music, he enjoys gaming, bouldering, cooking, and playing D&D.
